The matchweek two of the U21 Pro League, which concluded on Sunday, saw a whopping tally of 19 goals, 14 of which were secured by Shabab Al Ahli, Sharjah, and Al Jazira.
Al Jazira, Shabab Al Ahli, Al Bataeh, and Al Ain each made it two wins out of two to maintain their perfect starts to the 2022-23 U-21 Pro League season.
The opening day of the matchweek two saw Sharjah thrash guests Bani Yas 4-0, while Al Jazira managed to collect their second straight league win after slashing Khorfakkan 5-1 at the venue of Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium.
Meanwhile, defending champions Shabab Al Ahli beat Dibba with the same result (5-1) at Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium.
Al Bataeh also secured an important 1-0 away win over Al Wasl.
The action continued on Sunday, as Al Ain achieved a 1-0 win over Al Dhafra and Bani Yas defeated Al Nasr with the same result (1-0), while Ittihad Kalba concluded the matchweek two with a 2-2 draw with Al Wahda.
