The Organizing Committee of the Egyptian Super Cup held the technical coordination meeting for both the final and the third-place playoff on Saturday, 8 November, in the presence of representatives from the participating clubs, police, ambulance services, private security, and the management teams of the host stadiums.
The meeting reviewed all operational aspects, including technical and media arrangements, safety and security procedures, accreditation systems, medical and emergency readiness, and fan experience planning to ensure smooth delivery of both matches.
The highly anticipated final between Al Ahly and Zamalek will take place on Sunday, 9 November, at Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, with pre-match events beginning at 7:00 PM and kick-off scheduled for 7:30 PM UAE time. In case of a draw, the match will go to extra time, and if the tie persists, the winner will be determined by a penalty shootout.
Pre-match press conferences will be held on Saturday, with Al Ahly addressing the media from 4:30 to 4:55 PM and Zamalek from 5:05 to 5:30 PM.
Both teams’ head coaches and one starting player will be present. Official training sessions will also take place at Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium, with Al Ahly training from 7:00 to 8:00 PM and Zamalek from 8:30 to 9:30 PM. The first 15 minutes of each session will be open to the media.
Al Ahly will wear their traditional red shirts with white shorts, while Zamalek will appear in white shirts and black shorts.
Gates will open for fans on Sunday at 3:30 PM, with twelve mobile first-aid units stationed around the venue. The main entrance is reserved for VIP guests, premium seating, and skyboxes, while Al Ahly fans will enter through gates 8, 10, 11, 13, and 17, and Zamalek fans through gates 21, 25, 27, 28, and 30.
Fans attending the match will also be entered into e-draws for the chance to win smartphones and flight tickets, with winners announced during halftime. The committee has also organized a dedicated Fan Zone at Al Jazira Hub, open since 7 November, offering a variety of entertainment and sporting activities to enhance the event experience.
Meanwhile, the third-place playoff between Ceramica Cleopatra and Pyramids will be played at Al Nahyan Stadium on Sunday, 9 November, at 4:45 PM. In case of a draw, the winner will be decided by a penalty shootout.
The press conferences for the third-place match will be held on Saturday evening, with Ceramica Cleopatra’s media session from 5:45 to 6:10 PM and Pyramids from 6:20 to 6:45 PM.
Each team will conduct its official training session at Al Nahyan Stadium, with Ceramica Cleopatra from 7:00 to 8:00 PM and Pyramids from 8:30 to 9:30 PM. The first 15 minutes of both sessions will be open to the media.
Ceramica Cleopatra will wear white and maroon, while Pyramids will play in all black.
Stadium gates will open for fans at 2:45 PM, with gate 3 allocated to Ceramica Cleopatra supporters and gate 4 to Pyramids fans.
Four mobile medical units will be available in the stands, and fans will also have the chance to win smartphones through electronic ticket draws, with the winners announced at halftime.
