Schreuder Vs. Safri .. An Anticipated Encounter for Clinching the Super Cup

A tactical game will be outside the pitch between Al Nasr's head coach Alfred Schreuder, and Qatar SC manager Youssef Safri.

 

 

 

The well-experienced Dutch manager Alfred Schreuder has led Al Nasr since 2023 as he managed 39 games, winning 21, drawing in 7 and losing 11, scoring 72 goals and conceding 60.

 

 

 

Schreuder started his managerial career in 2014 with Dutch FC Twente before leading German Hoffenheim in 2019.

 

 

 

In 2020, he worked as an assistant manager in Barcelona before starting another adventure as a head coach with Belgian Club Brugge in 2022.

 

 

 

During the same year, Schreuder managed Ajax. He became the head coach of Al Ain before leading Al Nasr.

 

 

 

During his entertaining managerial career, he won several titles, including Copa del Rey with Barcelona, KNVB Cup with Ajax and FC Twente, two Eredivisie (Dutch League) trophies with Ajax and FC Twente, as well as a Belgian Pro League trophy with Club Brugge.

 

 

 

On the other hand, Youssef Safri will search to secure his first title with Qatar SC as he has led the Qatari side since September 2014, managing 13 games, winning two, drawing in four, and losing seven.

 

 

 

It is the second term for the Moroccan manager as he had led the Qatari team in the first term, when he played 60 matches, winning 23, drawing 9, and losing 28.

 

 

 

Safri began his managerial career in 2017 as an assistant manager in Moroccan Raja before managing Qatar SC on two occasions; the first one was in 2017, and the second began in 2024.
