The opening gameweek of the 2026-27 ADIB Cup saw a high-scoring start, with 26 goals across seven matches at an average of 3.71 goals per game.

Al Nasr, Ajman, Al Wasl and Bani Yas were the most prolific teams in Gameweek 1, with each side scoring three goals.

Hatta goalkeeper Ibrahim Essa recorded the highest number of saves, making six stops across his team’s opening match.
In creativity, Al Jazira’s Malcom led the round with five key passes, the highest figure among all players.
The high-scoring nature of Gameweek 1 was also reflected in the defensive numbers, with only one clean sheet recorded across the seven matches.
Overall, the opening round produced six victories and one draw, leaving six clubs on three points.
Goal difference separated those teams at the top of the standings, with Al Nasr leading, followed by Bani Yas, Ajman, Al Wasl, Kalba and Al Jazira.
