Sharjah secured an important 1–0 win over Saudi side Al Ahli in Jeddah, in their fifth round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League Elite (West), held on Monday at Prince Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium.
Ousmane Camara scored the game's only goal in the 81st minute, breaking free on goal before firing a left-footed strike past the Al Ahli goalkeeper to seal the win.
The result marks Sharjah’s second win in the tournament, following their dramatic 4–3 opening-round victory over Qatar’s Al Gharafa.
With this win, Sharjah move to 7 points and rise to seventh place in the West standings, while Al Ahli remain third with 10 points.
