Sharjah, led by experienced head Olăroiu Cosmin, succeeded in clinching two titles at the end of the 2022-23 season after claiming ADIB Cup and UAE Super Cup trophies.
Their adventure in the ADNOC Pro League was disappointing as they came seventh with 43 points, while they sit second in the U-21 Pro League.
Olăroiu Cosmin's men have written their names in the ADIB Cup's records after winning the trophy for the first time in their history following an excellent journey in the tournament after defeating Al Ain in the final 2-1, as well as securing a 1-0 victory over Al Ain in the UAE Super Cup to win their seventh title.
Despite their brilliant start to the ADNOC Pro League season, Sharjah failed to maintain their superiority at the top of the table and lost the lead to Shabab Al Ahli by the end of round one.
Despite failing to regain the lead in round two, Sharjah had the strongest defense as they conceded 21 goals.
