Shabab Al Ahli Maintain Four-Point Lead at Top of U-21 Pro League after 11 Matchweeks

The matchweek eleven of the U21 Pro League, which concluded on Wednesday, saw a whopping tally of 33 goals, 20 of which were scored during the first-day matches, while 13 others were scored on the second day.

Six home teams emerged victorious, while only one team won away from home.

The opening day saw defending champions Shabab Al Ahli return to the winning streak and maintain their position at the top of the League table with 26 points after a 4-2 win over Al Wasl at the venue of Maktoum bin Rashid.

While Ajman defeated Al Dhafra 3-0 to climb to sixth place with 17 points, Al Dhafra remained in 13th place with 9 points.

Al Jazira also pulled off an important 2-1 victory over Al Bataeh at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, raising their tally to 18 points in fourth place, while Al Bataeh remained bottom of the table with 8 points.

Tuesday's fixtures concluded with Dibba settling an eight-goal thriller sealing a 6-2 win over Al Nasr, raising their tally to 22 points in the second place, while Al Nasr's tally froze at 17 points in the seventh spot.

The action continued on Wednesday, as Al Ain achieved a 5-1 win over Bani Yas, to climb to the fifth spot with 18 points, while Bani Yas's tally froze at 9 points in 11th place.

Meanwhile, Khorfakkan secured a 2-1 win over Al Wahda at Saqr bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Stadium to climb to 10th place with 10 points, while Al Wahda sit 8th with 17 points.

Matchweek eleven concluded on Wednesday with Sharjah moving up to the third spot with 21 points after securing a 3-1 win over Ittihad Kalba, who remained in 12th place with nine points.
