UAE Pro League board member Saeed Obaid Al Kaabi said, “we celebrate one of the dear days to our hearts, as the National Day celebrations always coincides with great steps taken by our country towards a future that matches the legacy of our ancestors. These great achievements made by the UAE are a source of pride and gratitude that urges us to continue working in order to achieve the vision and aspirations of our leaders and people.”
He added, “we derive our inspiration from the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who laid down for us ground rules that are suitable for all times and places and a constitution for all generations. We also derive it from our wise leadership that stood in face of all the challenges that we faced through the years, and the words of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, "Do not be worry" is a message to the world that the UAE and its people will always be safe, and we pray to God to protect the UAE, its leadership and people, and perpetuates the blessing of security and safety upon us.”
