Teams' Shared Ambitions Await Matchweek 25 of the ADNOC Pro League

Matchweek 25 kicks off over the weekend with all teams searching for improving their positions in the table before the end of the season, while Al Dhafra and Al Orooba will race to avoid relegation.

 

 

 

 

Saturday's action gets underway with four encounters, three of which will be held at 18:15, with Sharjah hosting Emirates at Sharjah Stadium.

 

 

 

 

Sharjah are looking forward to cementing their position in the second spot, while Emirates will be in a search of achieving a positive result after becoming the first team to be relegated from the ADNOC Pro League as they are bottom with ten points.

 

 

 

 

All eyes will be on the Al Nasr vs Al Dhafra and Al Orooba vs Al Wasl clashes as both teams are racing to avoid relegation, with Al Dhafra sitting 12th on 18 points, while Al Orooba are in 13th place with 17 points.

 

 

 

On the other hand, Al Nasr and Al Wasl seek to improve their positions in the table and compensate for their defeats in matchweek 24 as both teams have 32 points in the seventh and eighth spots respectively.

 

 

 

Saturday's fixtures conclude with the Al Jazira vs Al Wahda derby at the Mohammad bin Zayed Stadium for the 21:00 kick-off.

 

 

 

The Pride of Abu Dhabi sit 3rd on 49 points, while Gregory Dufrennes' men are fourth with 45 points.

 

 

 

The games continue on Sunday with three games, two of which take place at 21:00, while the other match will be held at 18:15.

 

 

 

The first match of the day will be between the ADNOC Pro League champions Al Ain and sixth-placed Ajman.

 

 

 

Sunday's action continues with Shabab Al Ahli hosting Bani Yas at Rashid Stadium, with the former seeking to end their adventure in this season in the best possible place as the Dubai-based side are fifth with 36 points, while the latter sit ninth with 30 points.

 

 

 

 

At the same time, Ittihad Kalba welcome Khorfakkan as both teams seek to improve their rankings in the table, with Ittihad Kalba sitting 10th with 27 points, while Khorfakkan are 11th with 25 points.
