UAE Pro League board member Jawaher Al Suwaidi greeted the "Mother of the UAE" Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation on the occasion of "Mother's Day," lauding Her Highness's achievements in various fields, especially in empowering Emirati women to achieve what they have today.
Al Suwaidi stressed that the celebration of 'Mother's Day' shows the society's appreciation of the mother as a role model and a major element, adding that she is the one who spends her life bringing up her children, protecting her family, and caring for them well to become the leaders of the future.
The UAE Pro League board member pointed out that 'Emirati mothers' enjoy a special status in light of the availability of all aspects of support in various fields until they became effective in the process of success and excellence at the scientific and practical levels.
Al Suwaidi praised the roles of the 'martyrs' mothers' saying: "On Mother's Day, we remember the sacrifices of righteous martyrs' mothers, after they contributed to upbringing generations of heroes, who were keen to sacrifice their lives in defence of the nation's interests, and they became a role model".
