UAE Pro League Chairman Abdulla Naser Al Jneibi expressed his deepest thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for his intendance in the Pro League Cup final.
Al Jneibi said that this added a great value to this sports event and made it A 'Day for Athletes' to celebrate it, especially since we are in the days of Eid Al-Fitr.
The UAE Pro League Chairman stressed that the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed reflects his unlimited support to the sports sector in general and football in particular, as it had a great impact on the development of professional competitions.
He cited the qualitative leap witnessed in the organization of the Pro League Cup final to be an event to celebrate patriotism, through community activities and initiatives that were held under the slogan "The Eid Shines On With You".
Al Jneibi also hailed the wonderful attendance of UAE football fans in general and both teams' fans in particular.
