Al Nasr Edge Kalba in Thrilling 3-2 Victory

Al Nasr secured a hard-fought 3-2 win over Kalba in a pulsating five-goal encounter at Kalba Stadium, as part of matchweek 25 of the ADNOC Pro League.

The match was packed with action, particularly in the first half, where Al Nasr surged to a commanding lead that ultimately proved just enough to secure all three points.

The victory sees Al Nasr climb to sixth place in the league standings with 38 points, while Kalba remain in ninth with 31 points, as the season edges closer to its conclusion.

The visitors got off to a dream start, breaking the deadlock within just three minutes of kickoff.

Defender Samir Memisevic showcased incredible skill and composure with a stylish backheel finish, giving Al Nasr the early advantage and silencing the home crowd.

Al Nasr continued to dominate possession and dictate the tempo, and their pressure paid off again in the 13th minute.

Matthews De Andrade doubled the lead with a clinical header after a perfectly weighted cross from Ahmed Mohamad found him unmarked inside the box.

The away side added a third goal just before halftime, capping off a near-perfect first half.

Haris Seferovic was the beneficiary of a superbly threaded through ball from Gustavo Alex.

Seferovic showed great composure to cut inside his marker before calmly slotting the ball past the goalkeeper, making it 3-0 at the interval.

Despite the deficit, Kalba came out with renewed determination in the second half and managed to claw their way back into the contest.

Midfielder Daniel Bessa ignited hopes of a comeback in the 48th minute with a powerful low strike from inside the area that left the keeper with no chance.

The hosts continued to press forward, and their efforts were rewarded once more in the 83rd minute.

Ali Salmin capitalized on a loose ball at the edge of the box and rifled in a well-timed half-volley to bring Kalba within touching distance of an equalizer.

However, Al Nasr held firm in the final minutes, weathering the late storm and ensuring they walked away with a vital win in one of the most exciting fixtures of the round.
