Shabab Al Ahli midfielder Mohammed Almansoori has expressed confidence in his side’s readiness and high morale ahead of the EMAAR Super Cup match against Sharjah, which will be played on Saturday at Al Maktoum Stadium, while stressing full respect for the opposition.
Almansoori said Shabab Al Ahli possesses a strong group of players capable of competing for trophies, highlighting the clear impact of the head coach’s passion during training through detailed planning, close follow-up, and precise execution.
He added that the team’s sole focus is on lifting the trophy.
The Shabab Al Ahli player also noted that finals are decided by what players deliver on the pitch, describing every final as “the last match,” and emphasised the importance of the occasion, particularly as the competition carries the EMAAR name.
On the other side, Sharjah's forward Caio Lucas said finals always bring together the two strongest teams, underlining Sharjah’s readiness to produce a performance worthy of the event.
Lucas added that he is prepared to play in any position required by the coach, and that the support and trust of the fans give him strong motivation to perform at his best and to look for scoring opportunities at any moment, with the aim of delighting the supporters and delivering the expected display in the final.
