Al Maktoum Stadium continues to cement its status as the home of the EMAAR Super Cup, holding the record for hosting the competition more than any other venue.
The upcoming EMAAR Super Cup clash between Shabab Al Ahli and Sharjah marks the eighth Super Cup final staged at the stadium during the professional era.
Notably, all three previous Super Cup meetings between Shabab Al Ahli and Sharjah were also played at Al Maktoum Stadium, underlining its significance in the competition’s modern history.

Shabab Al Ahli top the scoring charts at Al Maktoum Stadium with 10 goals, while Sharjah and Emirates Club share second place with three goals each. Al Wasl have scored twice, and Al Wahda once.
On an individual level, Karim Karkar and Cartabia are the stadium’s joint top scorers in the Super Cup, each finding the net twice.
Shabab Al Ahli have contested five Super Cup finals at Al Maktoum Stadium, lifting the trophy on four occasions and finishing runners-up once.
Sharjah, meanwhile, have played all four of their Super Cup finals at the same venue, claiming the title twice and finishing second on two occasions.
