Al Jazira in White, Al Ahli in Green, as Challenge Cup Match Arrangements Finalised

The Organising Committee of the UAE–Qatar Super Cup has held the official technical and coordination meeting for the Challenge Cup match, part of the third edition of the UAE–Qatar Super Cup, which will bring together Al Jazira and Al Ahli.

The match will take place on Sunday, 25 January 2026, at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, home of Al Jazira Club, with kick-off scheduled for 8:00 PM UAE time.

Al Jazira enter the contest as winners of the ADIB Cup for the 2025 season, while Al Ahli qualified after being crowned Qatar Cup champions for the 2025 season.

The technical meeting was attended by representatives of the organising committee, both clubs, the referees’ department, and all parties involved in match organisation and coordination. During the meeting, the official team kits were confirmed, with Al Jazira set to wear their full white kit, while Al Ahli will appear in full green.

In accordance with Article 11 of the Challenge Cup regulations, it was confirmed that if the match ends in a draw at the end of normal time, the winner will be decided directly by a penalty shootout.

The official pre-match press conference for the Challenge Cup will be held on Saturday, 24 January, at Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club. Media reception will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by Al Jazira’s press conference at 4:30 PM and Al Ahli’s at 5:00 PM, featuring head coaches, key players, and media representatives.

Following the press conference, both teams will conduct their final training sessions at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, each lasting 1 hour. Al Jazira will train at 6:00 PM, followed by Al Ahli at 7:15 PM, with the first 15 minutes of each session open to the media.

The meeting also reviewed stadium entry arrangements for fans and invited guests. Stadium gates will open two hours before kick-off.

Al Jazira fans will enter through Gates 10, 11, 17, 19, 21, and 27

Al Ahli fans will enter through Gate 28

Gate 1 has been designated for VIP and premium ticket holders, while the main stand will host VIP guests and skyboxes.

The matchday experience will be further enhanced by a range of fan activities and entertainment at the Fan Zone near Al Jazira Hub, running daily from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, between 22 and 25 January.

Tickets for the Challenge Cup are available via the official UAE Pro League website and PlatinumList. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the Fan Zone activities and help create an exciting atmosphere in the stands.
