Abdulla Naser Al Jneibi, Chairman of the UAE Pro League and First Vice President of the UAE Football Association, welcomed Marianne van Leeuwen, CEO of the Dutch Professional Football League and Vice President of the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB), at the UAE Pro League headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two organizations and explore opportunities for knowledge exchange across key areas, including technical development, media, marketing, and commercial operations.
Both sides emphasized the importance of sharing best practices to enhance football growth in both countries.
This visit comes as part of the UAE Pro League’s efforts to engage with leading football institutions worldwide, in line with its 2020–2030 strategic vision.
The Pro League continues to work toward elevating the professional game in the UAE to global standards and achieving its long-term goals that support the progress of Emirati football, backed by the guidance of the nation’s wise leadership.
