Al Ain consolidated their position at the top of the Arabian Gulf League U21 after beating Khorfakkan 3-1 in matchweek 14 and raising their tally to 36 points.
They are now five points above second-placed Sharjah who defeated Fujairah 1-0. Al Wahda and Ittihad Kalba are tied on 28 points in third and fourth place, respectively. Al Wahda defeated Hatta 3-0 and Kalba emerged 2-0 winners over Shabab Al Ahli, who sit fifth on 26 points.
Al Wasl earned a big 5-1 win over Bani Yas to sit sixth on 20 points, two above Al Jazira who defeated Al Nasr 2-1.
Ajman and Al Dhafra played out a 0-0 draw, which left the Oranges in eighth place on 16 points.
Bani Yas are ninth on 15 points, one above Fujairah. Al Nasr, Hatta and Khorfakkan occupy the positions from 11th to 13th respectively. Meanwhile, Al Dhafra sit at the bottom on six points.
