Al Nasr advanced to the semi-finals of the ADIB Cup after pulling off a 5-1 aggregate win over Al Dhafra at Zabeel Stadium.
Only five minutes before the two teams head for the dressing rooms for the break, Adel Taarabt broke the deadlock and opened the scoring when the latter lashed a first-time strike into the back of the net following a superb low-cross from Antonio Jose De Carvalho.
In the 71st minute, Bi Gole Djehi managed to bring the visitors level when he picked up the ball from the midfield and ran toward the penalty area before hitting the back of the net with a smart finish.
Six minutes later, Adel Taarabt grabbed his brace and gave the lead again for his side when he picked up the ball on the left wing and lobbed the ball into the back of the net with a smart finish, to make it 2-1.
