His Excellency Abdulla Nasser Al Jneibi, Acting President of the UAE Football Association and Chairman of the UAE Pro League, highlighted the deep meaning behind the slogan "We Collaborate for Tomorrow," initiated by the Mother of the UAE" Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation.
He emphasized that the slogan aligns perfectly with the UAE's sustainable development goals.
"In addition to safeguarding the nation's monumental achievements across various fields, Emirati women also contribute to community well-being by promoting values of peace, tolerance, and goodwill. They are committed to building a future that is both progressive and flourishing," Al Jneibi said.
He continued, "The unparalleled support for Emirati women began with the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the UAE. This legacy of support continues today under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE."
In honor of Emirati Women's Day, the UAE Pro League Chairman extended heartfelt congratulations to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, stating, "Emirati women have played a significant role in the UAE's development journey, consistently achieving successes in various sectors over the past several decades."
"The sports sector is another arena where Emirati women shine," said Al Jneibi. "They have displayed remarkable resilience and determination, gaining not just national but global admiration for their sporting achievements."
