Al Jazira dropped points for the first time in their ADNOC Pro League campaign after being held to a 1-1 draw by Al Nasr at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium.
The hosts made a fast start and quickly found the breakthrough through Bruno De Oliveira, who unleashed a thunderous strike from outside the box that flew into the back of the net.
Al Nasr responded after the break and restored parity a minute after the hour mark. Isam Faiz threaded a pass into the path of Mehdi Ghayedi, who beat his marker before firing a strike to make it 1-1.
Neither side was able to find a winner in the closing stages as the points were shared in Abu Dhabi.
The result leaves Al Jazira temporarily top of the standings with 13 points, while Al Nasr sit ninth with five points.
