Al Ain launched their 2025-26 Gulf Club Champions League campaign in style with a commanding 4-1 victory over Bahrain’s Sitra.
Al Zaeem took the lead in the 22nd minute through an own goal, but Sitra responded before halftime with an equaliser from Varkiz Alberto in the 41st minute.
In the second half, Al Ain regained control and produced a powerful finish. Yussif Suleiman
restored the lead in the 81st minute, Soufiane Rahimi added a third in the 87th, and Rilwanu Sarki struck the fourth in the 90th minute to seal a convincing win.
The result gives Al Ain their first three points of the competition and boosts their chances of advancing to the knockout stage.
