Al Wasl returned to winning ways with a solid 3–0 win over Al Dhafra at Zabeel Stadium in Matchweek 20 of the ADNOC Pro League.
The hosts controlled the game from the start and took the lead in the 32nd minute through Fabio De Lima, who ended a long scoring drought with a powerful header.
Al Wasl continued their momentum after the break, doubling their advantage in the 51st minute when Ali Saleh scored with a shot that slipped past the goalkeeper.
The match saw both sides reduced to ten men, but Al Wasl remained in control and sealed the win in the 80th minute as substitute Renato Junior added the third goal.
The result lifts Al Wasl to 33 points in fifth place, while Al Dhafra remain on 18 points in 12th.
