Race for 400th Goal Headlines Matchweek 22

The race for the 400th goal draws attention as Matchweek 22 of the ADNOC Pro League approaches, with the total standing at 399 goals.

The first goal of the coming matchweek will bring the tally to 400, reflecting the league’s strong attacking level this season.

This comes after Matchweek 21, which produced 20 goals and continued the league’s scoring form. The most notable matches were Al Nasr against Al Wahda and Kalba versus Al Bataeh, both ending 2-2.

So far this season, 147 matches have been played, with 399 goals scored at an average of 2.71 goals per match, showing a consistent attacking rhythm across the competition.

At team level, Shabab Al Ahli lead with 50 goals, followed by Al Ain with 43 and Al Jazira with 34. Al Wahda and Sharjah have each scored 31 goals, leaving several teams capable of reaching the 400-goal mark.

Individually, Laba Kodjo leads the scorers with 20 goals, followed by Omar Khrbin with 15 and Tarik Tissoudali with 10. Yuri César, Shahriyar Moghanloo, Karim El Berkaoui, and Nabil Fekir each have eight goals.

With these numbers, the identity of the player who will score the 400th goal remains open, with several in-form players and attacking teams in contention.

As Matchweek 22 begins, the focus will not only be on results, but also on reaching the 400-goal mark in a season defined by strong attacking performances.
