Khorfakkan produced a decisive second-half display to secure a hard-earned 2–1 victory over Bani Yas in matchweek 21 of the ADNOC Pro League.
A cagey first half saw both sides struggle to find rhythm, with chances limited and defenses on top. The breakthrough arrived ten minutes after the restart, when Tarik Tissoudali stepped up in style, firing a sublime effort beyond Fahd Aldhanhani to open the scoring.
Momentum firmly shifted, and just five minutes later, Aylton Filipe doubled the advantage with a sharp first-time volley, expertly guided in from a precise delivery by Pedro Pavlov.
Bani Yas responded through Alhassan Koroma, who reduced the deficit shortly after the hour mark with a composed side-footed finish, setting up a tense finale.
Despite late pressure, Khorfakkan Club held firm to see out the win, climbing to eighth place with 23 points, while Bani Yas remain 12th on 21 points.
