Al Bataeh and Kalba played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium in Matchweek 21 of the ADNOC Pro League.
Kalba took the lead early through Saman Ghoddos in the 16th minute, finishing from inside the penalty area to give his side a strong start.
Al Bataeh responded in the 34th minute, with Alvaro De Oliveira finding the equaliser through a low strike into the corner.
The second half continued in a similar rhythm, as Ghoddos struck again in the 55th minute to restore Kalba’s advantage and complete his brace.
However, the hosts replied quickly once more, with Marwan Fahad Hamza scoring the equaliser in the 61st minute to bring Al Bataeh back on level terms.
Both teams pushed for a winning goal in the closing stages, but neither could find the decisive breakthrough, as the match ended in a 2-2 draw with each side taking a point.
The result sees Al Bataeh move to 18 points in 13th place, while Kalba reach 22 points in eighth position.
