The ADNOC Pro League enters Matchweek 16 with four highly anticipated fixtures, headlined by a heavyweight encounter between Al Ain and Al Nasr.
While three matches have been postponed due to Asian commitments, the remaining encounters carry major implications across the standings.
The round begins on Friday, 13 February, when Al Bataeh host Al Dhafra at Khaled bin Mohammed Stadium at 17:30.
Both sides are eager to bounce back after setbacks in the previous round. Al Bataeh sit second from bottom with 12 points and urgently need a victory, while Al Dhafra, in tenth place with 16 points, aim to create further distance from the lower positions.
Later that evening at 20:00, Al Jazira welcome Kalba to Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium. Both teams are seeking redemption after defeats last week.
Al Jazira currently occupy fifth place with 22 points, while Kalba sit eleventh with 16 points.
Saturday’s action sees Khorfakkan host Ajman at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qassimi Stadium at 17:30.
Separated by just one point, seventh-placed Khorfakkan with 18 points and eighth-placed Ajman with 17 points are set for what promises to be one of the round’s most evenly matched contests.
The spotlight then shifts to Hazza bin Zayed Stadium at 20:00, where Al Ain, second with 37 points, look to apply pressure on leaders Shabab Al Ahli and potentially move to the top of the table, at least temporarily.
Al Nasr, currently sixth with 20 points, will aim to regain momentum and strengthen their push toward the leading positions.
