The UAE Pro League has officially launched its Media and Marketing Programs under the umbrella of the Clubs Empowerment Programme, marking a strategic step toward enhancing clubs’ institutional capabilities, strengthening digital performance, increasing fan engagement, and accelerating commercial growth in line with the next phase of development in UAE professional football.
The launch forms part of the Clubs Empowerment Programme’s 2025–2027 roadmap, which focuses on closing capability gaps across clubs, elevating professional standards, and ensuring long-term sustainability by building more efficient operational ecosystems in both media and marketing functions.
The initiative features two specialised training modules held at the UAE Pro League headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The Media Module took place on 4 February, while the Marketing Module was delivered on Thursday, 12 February 2026, with participation from nominated media and marketing representatives from ADNOC Pro League clubs.
The Media Module centred on content creation, storytelling, and digital monetisation, equipping club media teams with the practical tools required to operate as modern, year-round media platforms.
The objective is to transform digital engagement into tangible commercial value that strengthens clubs’ revenue streams and deepens their connection with fans.
Meanwhile, the Marketing Module focused on fan engagement, event management, and commercial partnership activation.
It introduced structured, cost-effective strategies designed to increase match attendance, enhance partner relationships, and foster stronger emotional connections between clubs and their supporters.
The programme adopted a blended learning methodology, combining in-person sessions with club-level applied projects.
This approach ensures that acquired knowledge is translated into actionable practices, promotes league-wide alignment, enhances the overall fan experience, and strengthens clubs’ commercial performance.
The Media and Marketing Modules were developed in collaboration with the UAE Pro League’s education partner, Real World Academies, and in partnership with Clubs Empowerment Programme experts, Sport+Stadia, ensuring high-quality training content aligned with the programme’s overarching objectives.
