Ajman sealed a thrilling 3–1 stoppage-time victory over Kalba in Matchweek 15 of the ADNOC Pro League, with late drama turning a tightly contested encounter on its head.
Ajman struck first after 19 minutes when Waleed Azaro timed his run perfectly to power home a header from a pinpoint cross by Lithierry Silva, giving the visitors a crucial first-half lead.
Kalba pushed hard for an equaliser after the restart, while Ajman threatened on the counter. The away side came close to doubling their advantage on 53 minutes when Junior Flemmings rattled the crossbar.
Just when Ajman looked set to see the game out, Kalba levelled in the dying moments through Sekou Baba, whose sublime strike flew into the top corner.
But the drama was far from over.
Deep into stoppage time, Ajman regained the lead as Saad El Hadani reacted quickest to poke home a rebound, before Anas Mtitache sealed the win with a brilliant solo effort, calmly slotting into the bottom corner.
The result lifts Ajman to eighth place on 17 points, while Kalba remain 11th with 16, as both sides continue their push up the table.
