There was no major change at the top of the ADNOC Pro League standings following the conclusion of Matchweek 14, as the leading trio Shabab Al Ahli, Al Ain, and Al Wahda all secured victories.
Meanwhile, Bani Yas capitalised on their win over Al Nasr to move up to 13th place, leaving Dibba at the bottom of the table.
Matchweek 14 recorded just 13 goals, marking the second lowest scoring round of the season after Matchweek 3, which saw 11 goals.
Notably, only one goal was scored from a set piece, Al Ain’s opening goal against Kalba from a throw in, while the remaining 12 goals came from open play.
Goals were shared among 13 different players, with 10 players registering assists. Luan Pereira stood out as the only player to both score and assist during the round.
The reduced goal tally was also reflected in disciplinary records, as matchweek 14 witnessed just one red card, shown to Kalba’s Ahmed Abu Namous in the opening fixture of the round.
Al Wahda and Al Wasl recorded the highest number of attempts on goal with 23 shots each, while Sharjah proved the most accurate, registering 10 shots on target.
Al Wahda also topped possession statistics with 69%.
Despite Amjad Al Sayed making eight saves, his efforts were not enough to help his side secure points in their match against Sharjah.
