Al Wahda secured a valuable late win after edging past Dibba 1–0 at Al Nahyan Stadium in Matchweek 14 of the ADNOC Pro League.
The decisive moment came in the 92nd minute when Caio Canedo scored the winning goal, handing Al Wahda all three points at the start of the second half of the season.
The result lifted Al Wahda to 29 points and third place in the standings, while Dibba remain on nine points in 13th position.
Al Wahda showed attacking intent early, with Arnau Pradas hitting the post in the third minute, while Reza Ghandipour missed a close-range opportunity in the 33rd minute.
Despite several attempts, the first half ended goalless.
Dibba nearly broke the deadlock in the 70th minute through a Habib Yousif header that went just wide, before Al Wahda saw a penalty appeal overturned following a VAR review.
Dibba goalkeeper Mohammed Salem kept his side in the game with important saves in the 75th and 82nd minutes, but Caio Canedo finally found the breakthrough in stoppage time to seal the win.
