Shabab Al Ahli kept the pressure on leaders Al Ain after securing a 3–1 win over Ajman in the rescheduled Matchweek 10 fixture of the ADNOC Pro League, played at Rashid Stadium.
The hosts took control early and opened the scoring in the 23rd minute through Mateus Henrique Silva, who finished a well-constructed move. Seven minutes later, Guilherme Da Silva Bala doubled the lead, continuing his strong record against Ajman.
Ajman responded in the 39th minute when Waleed Azaro pulled a goal back with a deflected strike, sending Shabab Al Ahli into the break with a 2–1 advantage.
Shabab Al Ahli pushed again after the restart and were rewarded in the 53rd minute as Sultan Adil sealed the result with a composed follow-up finish. The hosts then managed the game comfortably to claim all three points.
The win lifts Shabab Al Ahli to 29 points, just one behind Al Ain at the top of the table, while Ajman remain ninth on 13 points.
