Dibba secured three valuable points after edging past Khorfakkan with a 1–0 victory at Dibba Stadium, in Matchweek 12 of the ADNOC Pro League.
The match was decided in the 57th minute when Saymon De Barros produced a fine individual effort to score the only goal of the contest. The result lifted Dibba to nine points and into 12th place, while Khorfakkan remain tenth on 11 points.
The first half saw limited attacking threat, with play largely confined to midfield and few clear chances at either end. Khorfakkan came closest before the break with a header that was safely dealt with by the Dibba goalkeeper.
Dibba showed greater intent after the interval and went close early through Takashi Ushino, whose powerful shot was pushed away by goalkeeper Ahmed Hamdan Alhosani. The home side’s pressure eventually paid off through Saymon’s decisive strike.
Khorfakkan were handed a lifeline in the 72nd minute with a penalty, but Dibba goalkeeper Mohamed Salem produced a crucial save to deny Tarik Tissoudali and secure a valuable victory for the hosts.
