Dibba earned their first victory of the season in the ADNOC Pro League with a valuable 1–0 away win over Al Bataeh in Matchweek 11 at Khaled bin Mohammed Stadium.
The decisive goal was scored by Iraqi striker Mohaned Ali in the 56th minute, as he fired a powerful shot from inside the penalty area to secure three crucial points for Dibba.
The win lifted Dibba to six points and moved them up to 13th place on goal difference, level with Al Bataeh, who dropped to the bottom of the table.
The first half was largely cautious, with limited attacking threat from both sides and few clear chances, as the teams went into the break level.
Dibba showed greater intent after the restart and were rewarded through Mohanad Ali’s well-taken goal, which also marked the 40th goal scored by Iraqi players in Pro League history.
Al Bataeh attempted to respond in the closing stages, but Dibba remained organised and disciplined to see out the match and register their maiden league win of the campaign.
