Al Wahda moved to the top of the ADNOC Pro League table, at least temporarily, after a thrilling 3–2 comeback win over Al Nasr in the Matchweek 7 clash held at Al Nahyan Stadium.
The match witnessed nonstop drama as Al Wahda overturned a deficit twice to claim all three points.
Abdoulaye Toure opened the scoring for Al Nasr in the 10th minute from the penalty spot, before Facundo Daniel equalized for Al Wahda late in the first half.
Al Nasr regained the lead in the 53rd minute through Moussa Ndiaye, but Al Wahda responded with two quick goals — Omar Khribin converting a penalty in the 77th minute and Rúben Filipe Canedo firing home the winner five minutes later in the 82nd.
The win lifted Al Wahda to 17 points and to the top of the league standings, while Al Nasr remained on eight points.
