The battle for the top spot has turned into a three-way fight, and a much-anticipated derby is set to headline the weekend.
The matchweek begins on Friday, September 19, when Al Wahda meet Al Dhafra at Al Nahyan Stadium in a clash separated by just one point.
Al Wahda have five points in fifth place, while Al Dhafra sit fourth with six. Later in the evening, Bani Yas look for their first points of the campaign against Al Jazira, who stand on four points from three matches.

Sunday closes the matchweek with Al Bataeh meeting Al Wasl, as both sides push for their second win of the season, before Sharjah face Ajman in a contest of close neighbors in the table.
Sharjah are on four points in sixth place, while Ajman have three in eleventh.
