The ADNOC Pro League enters Matchweek four with excitement at its peak after three weeks filled with drama, intensity, and big moments.
The battle for the top spot has turned into a three-way fight, and a much-anticipated derby is set to headline the weekend.
The matchweek begins on Friday, September 19, when Al Wahda meet Al Dhafra at Al Nahyan Stadium in a clash separated by just one point.
Al Wahda have five points in fifth place, while Al Dhafra sit fourth with six. Later in the evening, Bani Yas look for their first points of the campaign against Al Jazira, who stand on four points from three matches.
Saturday brings three more matches. Dibba, still without a point, face Kalba, who are on four. At Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, Al Ain chase another win to keep pace in the title race, level on seven points with Shabab Al Ahli and Al Nasr.
Their opponent Khorfakkan also sit on four points. The spotlight then turns to Al Maktoum Stadium for the derby between Al Nasr and Shabab Al Ahli, a clash between two sides tied on seven points.
Shabab Al Ahli hold first place on goal difference, while Al Nasr are third. The rivalry has a rich history, with 32 league meetings producing 16 wins for Shabab Al Ahli, five for Al Nasr, and 11 draws.
Sunday closes the matchweek with Al Bataeh meeting Al Wasl, as both sides push for their second win of the season, before Sharjah face Ajman in a contest of close neighbors in the table.
Sharjah are on four points in sixth place, while Ajman have three in eleventh.
