ADNOC Pro League clubs have launched their international preparations ahead of the 2025–2026 season.
Six European countries, including Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Serbia, Slovenia, and Austria, are among the primary destinations chosen for pre-season training, alongside Morocco, where Al Ain are holding their summer camp for the second consecutive year.
These training camps reflect the high ambitions of clubs aiming to compete across all domestic tournaments: the ADNOC Pro League, Emaar Super Cup, and the ADIB Cup.
The ADIB Cup, in particular, has gained increased importance as it now offers a spot in the UAE-Qatar Super Cup, making it a highly sought-after title for clubs and their supporters.
Shabab Al Ahli will be working to defend their league title, while at least six other teams are determined to maintain a consistent presence at the top of the table.
Based on the trends of the last three seasons, title contention remains closely tied to former champions such as Al Wasl, Sharjah, Al Ain, and Al Jazira.
The goals are clear for every team: to compete for silverware. Clubs have been busy in the transfer market and are building stronger squads, setting the stage for a highly competitive and thrilling season ahead.
Austria is hosting the training camps of three clubs: Shabab Al Ahli (the defending champions), Sharjah, and Khorfakkan. Meanwhile, Al Wahda and Al Nasr have set up their camps in Germany.
Al Wasl have opted for the Netherlands. Al Ain are splitting their training between Morocco and Spain, where they will compete for the Granada Trophy in a friendly against La Liga side Granada on August 9 at the Nuevo Los Cármenes Stadium.
Al Jazira have also chosen Spain for its pre-season.
The newly promoted teams, Dibba and Al Dhafra, are preparing in Slovenia, alongside Kalba. In Serbia, Ajman, Al Bataeh, and Bani Yas are holding their training camps.
