The UAE Pro League, in partnership with Mubadala Investment Company and the Authority of Social Contribution (Ma’an), celebrated the graduation of participants in the National Talent Empowerment Program.
The initiative supports Emirati footballers who are retired or nearing retirement by preparing them for career opportunities beyond the pitch.
The graduation ceremony took place in Abu Dhabi and was attended by notable figures, including His Excellency Abdulla Naser Al Jneibi, UAE Pro League Chairman, and First Vice President of the UAE Football Association, Homaid Al Shimmari, Deputy Group CEO and Chief Corporate & Human Capital Officer at Mubadala; and Eng. Abdullah Humaid Al Ameri, Director General of Ma’an.
This program is part of a broader community partnership between the UAE Pro League, Mubadala, and Ma’an, aimed at delivering impactful initiatives across the sports sector.
The program focuses on equipping former players with practical knowledge in fields such as football administration, sports media, technical analysis, and marketing.
It also includes community-focused projects such as football activities for the elderly and people of determination, as well as organizing health and football festivals for children.
The initiative embodies the UAE’s commitment to social responsibility and national development, encouraging collaboration between major institutions to support athletes in their post-playing careers and promote well-being across the community.
