Shabab Al Ahli were officially crowned champions of the 2024–25 ADNOC Pro League on Sunday night, following a 2-1 win over Al Jazira in Abu Dhabi.
The final matchday victory at Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium marked the perfect ending to a dominant season, with the shield presentation taking place on the pitch moments after the final whistle.
The win brought Shabab Al Ahli’s professional-era league title tally to five, equaling Al Ain’s record, and raised their total number of UAE top-flight championships to nine.
Led by head coach Paulo Sousa, the team produced an outstanding campaign, winning 19 matches, drawing six, and losing just once across the 26-match season.
The championship celebrations began immediately after the win over Al Jazira, transforming the stadium into a sea of red.
The shield presentation was attended by several dignitaries, including Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Shabab Al Ahli Club; His Excellency Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and CEO of ADNOC; UAE Pro League Chairman, First Vice President of the UAE Football Association, His Excellency Abdulla Nasser Al Jneibi; and Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Member of Shabab Al Ahli's Board of Directors.
