Sharjah pulled off a sensational second-half comeback to defeat Khorfakkan 4–2 on Thursday night in Matchweek 25 of the ADNOC Pro League at Saqr bin Mohammad Al Qassimi Stadium.
The hosts started strong with two first-half goals. Aylton Filipe capitalized on a goalkeeper error in the 6th minute, and Tarik Tissoudali doubled the lead in the 32nd minute with a composed finish.
But Sharjah roared back after the break. Luan Pereira opened the comeback in the 54th minute, before Firas Ben Larbi equalized from a brilliant free-kick in the 82nd.
Just three minutes later, Pereira completed the turnaround with a powerful header to make it 3–2.
Sharjah sealed the win deep into stoppage time when Ousmane Camara scored the fourth goal in the 97th minute.
The victory lifts Sharjah to 48 points and into second place in the standings. Khorfakkan remain eighth with 33 points.
