Al Bataeh earned a valuable 3-1 win over Al Orooba on Tuesday evening at Dibba Stadium, in a Matchweek 25 fixture of the ADNOC Pro League.
The hosts took an early lead through Sinisa Jolacić in the 26th minute, making the most of a balanced opening that saw both sides exchange attacking threats.
However, Al Bataeh responded with resilience and clinical finishing to take full control in the second half.
Rafael Pereira brought Al Bataeh level in the 50th minute with a powerful header, shifting the momentum in favor of the visitors.
From that point on, Al Bataeh maintained dominance, pushing Al Orooba deep into their half.
The pressure paid off again in the 75th minute when Álvaro de Oliveira slotted home the second goal to put Al Bataeh ahead.
With just six minutes remaining, Abbosbek Gʻaniyev sealed the result with a third goal in the 84th minute, capping off a commanding second-half performance.
The win lifts Al Bataeh to 27 points and 11th place in the standings, while Al Orooba remain at the bottom of the table with just 10 points and little hope of survival heading into the final stretch of the season.
