4 Clubs in the Race for AFC Spots as ADNOC Pro League Nears Finale

The race for AFC qualification has narrowed to four clubs following the results of Matchweek 24 of the ADNOC Pro League.

Shabab Al Ahli have already secured a spot in the AFC Champions League Elite by winning both the ADNOC Pro League title and the UAE President’s Cup.

The runner-up in the league will also qualify directly for the AFC Elite, while third place will enter the AFC Elite playoff. The team in fourth place will qualify for the AFC Champions League 2.

Based on current standings, Sharjah sit second with 45 points. Winning their final two matches would guarantee them the runner-up position and direct qualification to the AFC Elite, regardless of other results.

Al Wahda are third with 44 points. They must also win both remaining matches and hope Sharjah drop points to claim second. If both teams win their last two matches, Al Wahda would move into the playoff position.

Al Wasl, in fourth with 43 points, also need to win their final two matches to secure at least fourth place. If Sharjah and Al Wahda both win out, Al Wasl would qualify for the AFC Champions League 2.

Al Ain are in fifth place with 40 points. They still have a chance to qualify if they win both upcoming matches and their rivals drop points.
