Al Nasr and Shabab Al Ahli played out a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night at Al Maktoum Stadium, closing out Matchweek 24 of the ADNOC Pro League.
With Shabab Al Ahli having already secured the league title, the match had little effect on the standings. The champions now sit on 57 points, while Al Nasr move to 35 in seventh place.
The first half lacked energy and chances, with both sides showing little urgency. It wasn’t until the second half that the tempo shifted. Al Nasr struck first in the 54th minute through substitute Abdoulaye Toure, who converted a sharp assist from Gustavo Alex.
Shabab Al Ahli responded in the 74th minute. Munas Dabbur finished off a precise pass from Sultan Adill to level the score. Shortly after, Al Nasr were reduced to 10 men when Moussa Ndiaye received a red card for a dangerous tackle, confirmed by VAR.
Despite the advantage, Shabab Al Ahli couldn’t find a winner as Al Nasr defended well until the final whistle.
