Two first half goals and another one in the second half inspired Al Wahda to secure a 3-0 comfortable win over Sharjah in matchweek 23 of the ADNOC Pro League on Sunday.
Facundo Daniel fired Al Wahda in front in the 28th minutes after timing his run perfectly to steer Kevin Agudelo's pass into the back of the net.
Jadsom Da Silva poked in the rebound to cement Al Wahda's lead and seal the victory in the 34th minute.
Brahima Diarra picked up the ball inside the box before nodding it into the bottom corner three minutes before the time.
The result means that Al Wahda jumped to the third spot with 41 points, while Sharjah sit second with 45 points.
