The eUAE Pro League finals begin this Friday, April 25, at Pixoul Arena in Al Qana, Abu Dhabi.
Organized by the UAE Pro League, the competition returns in its fifth edition as the official esports championship for professional football clubs in the UAE.
The tournament will run over two days and conclude on Saturday evening.
Fourteen players representing UAE Pro League clubs qualified for the finals through club-specific online qualifiers.
Registration opened on March 31 for all eligible citizens and residents, with each player securing a spot by winning their respective club tournament.
The group stage draw, held on Wednesday, placed Shabab Al Ahli, Khorfakkan, Al Wasl, Ajman, Al Ain, Sharjah, and Al Orooba in Group A.
Meanwhile, Group B includes Kalba, Al Jazira, Dibba Al Hisn, Bani Yas, Al Bataeh, Al Nasr, and Al Wahda.
This year’s edition features a new competitive structure. Players are split into two groups, with the top four from each advancing to the knockout rounds.
The final will be played over two legs, using a points-based system to decide the winner, replacing the previous best-of-three or best-of-five formats.
The new format encourages greater strategic depth and rewards consistent performance.
The championship is part of the global EA SPORTS FC Pro ecosystem.
Players represent their real-life clubs in EA SPORTS FC and compete for a place on the international stage, with the top performers earning the chance to represent the UAE in global competitions.
The UAE Pro League has allocated AED 15,000 for the champion, AED 10,000 for the runner-up, and AED 5,000 for third place. All matches will be broadcast live on the UAE Pro League’s official Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok channels.
