Ajman secured a 2-1 win over Al Nasr in Matchweek 18 of the ADNOC Pro League, climbing to eighth place in the standings.
Milos Kosanovic delivered a standout performance, scoring the two goals for the home side, while Mame Gning found the net late for Al Nasr.
Ajman started strong and took the lead in the 11th minute with a stunning free-kick from Kosanovic.
They had a golden opportunity to extend their advantage before halftime, but Waleed Azaro missed a one-on-one chance, sending his effort over the bar.
Al Nasr grew into the game in the second half, pushing forward in search of an equalizer.
However, Ajman’s defense held firm and was rewarded in the 83rd minute when Kosanovic converted a penalty to double the lead. Just two minutes later, Mame Gning pulled one back for Al Nasr, setting up a tense finish.
Despite late pressure from the visitors, Ajman held on to secure a crucial win.
With this result, Ajman move to 25 points in eighth place, overtaking Al Nasr, who remain in seventh with 26 points.
