Al Bataeh and Kalba played out a goalless draw in Matchweek 18 of the ADNOC Pro League, with both goalkeepers showing standout performances.
The result sees Al Bataeh move to 12th place with 16 points, while Kalba climb to 22 points in the 9th place.
Despite a lack of goals, the match showed goalkeeping excellence.
Sultan Al Manthari of Kalba denied three consecutive shots from Mohammed Juma Eid in the 16th minute, while Ibrahim Essa of Al Bataeh reacted brilliantly to stop a Leandro Spadacio header in the 25th minute.
The second half saw Al Bataeh push forward, with substitute Ahmed Khalil forcing another save from Al Manthari.
In the 82nd minute, the Kalba keeper made a brilliant stop to deny Alvaro De Oliveira, meanwhile, Essa remained solid for Al Bataeh, pulling off another save to maintain his clean sheet.
