Waleed Azaro's first-half goal was the difference in Ajman's 1-0 win over Dibba Al Hisn in matchweek 17 of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.
The result means Ajman sit 8th with 22 points, while Dibba Al Hisn are 13th with 10 points.
It was a cagey game with few chances, as Ajman managed to secure what they wanted from the game and deepened Dibba Al Hisn's relegation fears.
Lithierry Silva scored the only goal of the game when he picked out Waleed Azaro with an intelligent flick as the Moroccan striker raced forward before opening his body up and tucking the ball into the bottom right corner after 34 minutes.
