Khorfakkan secured a commanding 3-0 win over Al Orooba at Saqr bin Mohammad Al Qassimi Stadium in Matchweek 16 of the ADNOC Pro League.
The win rises Khorfakkan to 10th place with 18 points, while Al Orooba remain rooted at the bottom with just 3 points, struggling to turn their season around.
The hosts took an early lead in the 14th minute, thanks to a precise finish from Hamdan Humaid, who continues to be a key attacking force for his side.
With this goal, he has now scored four of Khorfakkan’s last seven goals in the league. Al Orooba attempted to respond but lacked efficiency in the final third, leaving Khorfakkan in control by halftime.
Just five minutes into the second half, Moroccan forward Tarik Tissoudali extended the lead with a well-taken goal, putting Khorfakkan in a comfortable position.
As the match neared its conclusion, Khorfakkan put the game beyond doubt with a swift counterattack, finished clinically by Oumar Keïta, securing a big 3-0 victory.
