Two goals from Soufiane Rahimi and Mateo Sanabria secured a 2-1 win over Al Bataeh in matchweek 15 of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.
Soufiane Rahimi found Alejandro Romero inside the box as the latter fired a strike that smashed the back of the net, putting Al Ain in front after 15 minutes.
Three minutes later, Ahmed Suliman launched a long-range unstoppable strike that hit the top corner to restore the parity for Al Bataeh.
Six minutes after the hour-mark, Mateo Sanabria unleashed a strike from a tight angle to seal the victory and secure the three points.
Al Ain are now third with 26 points, while Al Bataeh sit 12th with 11 points.
