Two goals from Marouan Azarkan and Abdoulaye Toure saw Al Nasr coming from a 0-1 down to defeat Al Orooba 2-1 in matchweek 14 of the ADNOC Pro League at Al Maktoum Stadium on Friday.
Al Orooba surprised Al Nasr by taking the lead after 39 minutes, but Al Nasr's response came very quickly by scoring the equalizer in the injury time of the first half and sealing the victory in the second half via Abdoulaye Toure's strike.
The result means that Al Nasr jump to the third spot with 25 points, while Al Orooba remain bottom with three points.
Leroy Johan Fer's backpass somehow rolled over Ahmed Shambih's foot and into his net as the goalkeeper failed to control the ball, giving Al Orooba the lead after 39 minutes.
A brilliant effort from a free kick into the box from the right-hand side saw a slight deflection, deceiving Al Orooba's goalkeeper Rashid Abdalla Suhail and finding the bottom corner.
Abdoulaye Toure completed the turnaround when his strike from inside the box took a decisive deflection off Al Orooba's Yusuf Olatunji and found the top corner two minutes before the hour-mark.
